Our small campsite in Dordogne is located in the Black Perigord, halfway between Sarlat and Perigueux (30mn), in the heart of the Vézère Valley. The Offrerie camping will be your ideal starting point to discover the Dordogne and its heritage.
Lovers of ancient villages, castles, caves, troglodyte sites, amusement parks, museums, but also for those who like preserved natural areas and panoramic views everyone will find their happiness with us. The Vézère Valley is full of prehistoric remains and several classified sites. L'Offrerie campsite is located nearby the Eyzies, the world capital of prehistory, and Montignac-Lascaux, known worldwide for the Lascaux cave. Not to mention the town of Sarlat with its pedestrian area, its markets and its historical heritage.
For the walkers or cyclists, The Vézère Valley alone has over 500 km of groomed and marked trails. A walking and hiking guide map and a map of mountain bike trails (labeled by the FFC-ATV) is available at the campsite reception. Map and GPX file !
In the village, every Wednesday evening in July and August takes place the night market. You buy and eat in the square around large tables, products from our local producers. Friendliness and entertainment is guaranty as different animations are proposed by the associations of Rouffignac.
The valley of the Vézère or the human Valley, takes its name from the Vézère river running through it. Its prehistoric sites are now classified amongst the French sites listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO
